Mosquito Misting System Troubleshooting
Although the products we sell are designed to be reliable and durable, they spend a lot of time outdoors in varying weather conditions and are subjected to some wear and tear over the years. If you are having issues with your mosquito misting system, please follow these steps to identify and resolve the problem. If you are still unsure, please contact us for assistance.
Issues with the electronic controller
Check the outlet to verify that there is power available.
If is is a digital system, open the controller lid and verify that the small circuit breaker button hasn’t popped up- if it has, simply push it down until it locks into place.
If you are still unable to get power to the unit, unscrew the two screws that hold the faceplate of the controller to the box it sits in. On the back of the faceplate, locate the white ceramic fuse that is about 1/2 and inch long and is held to the faceplate by 2 metal clips. It may not show any visual damage, but the fuse can be tested with a multimeter as outlined here: Testing a Fuse.
If the fuse is bad, replace it with one of our replacement fuses by inserting the new fuse into the metal clips.

Pressure Issues
If you are having a problem reaching the correct pressure, or if none of your nozzles are spraying, there are a few potential causes:
Pressure is set too low
Issue with the pump
Leak in the nozzle circuit
Air gap in the pump
Starting at the pump, check that the pressure gauge is showing correct pressure (180-220 psi). Use the needle valve on the right hand side of the manifold to manipulate the pressure to adjust if needed. If the pressure gauge is reading 0, an air gap in the pump could be the cause of the issue. To resolve this, “burp” the system by disconnecting the 1/4 inch tubing that leads out to your nozzle circuit and run the system for a short period, being careful to avoid spraying yourself or the electronic components of the system. If that doesn’t work, and you are unable to increase the pressure with the needle valve, then the pump is likely damaged and will need to be replaced.
If you are getting sufficient pressure at the pressure gauge, but your nozzles aren’t spraying, inspect the nozzle circuit for leaks and repair them by cutting the tubing and reconnecting the loose ends with a union connector.
if you have no leaks and the pressure gauge shows that you have sufficient pressure at the start of the system, then your nozzles my be clogged.
